Edinburgh University took on rival St Andrews in the world’s oldest varsity match, the Royal Bank of Scotland Scottish Varsity Match, on 24 September at BT Murrayfield. The Edinburgh University Ladies’ Rugby Club stormed to a 97-0 victory, while the Men’s team lost out 24-12 in a tense match. However, the crowd of over 10,000 were treated to a day of fantastic rugby courtesy of the players and coaches from both institutions.
