University of Edinburgh Sport & Exercise becomes the first department in the UK to achieve Investors in People Platinum accreditation. Image A world-recognised framwork For nearly 30 years Investors in People has been recognised internationally as a leading people accreditation. Organisations that meet the world-recognised Investors in People Standard reflect the very best in people management excellence. Underpinning the Standard is the Investors in People Framework. Based on 25 years of leading practice, the latest research and workplace trends, the Investors in People Framework is organised around nine key indicators of high performance each with three underpinning themes. To achieve accreditation, organisations are assessed against these themes and indicators, leading to an award level of standard, silver, gold or platinum, that represents the level of performance achieved, or the level of ‘maturity’, from a fundamental ‘developed’ level to ‘high performing’. Platinum Accreditation We are delighted to annouce that we have been awarded the top accolade by Investors in People with Platinum accreditation. This achievement is testament to the dedication of our people and our commitment to the continuous development and improvement of our place of work.
