Weekly class timetable

View our weekly class schedule to find out when your favourite class is on. Classes are available to all our members as part of your membership but all live classes need to be pre-booked online. RPM (virtual) classes do not require advance booking, simply head to Velocity ahead of the class start times listed in the timetable below.

Tips for visiting:

  • Classes can be booked 3 days in advance and become available from 6am each day. Please be aware our classes are extremely popular so do book up quickly.
  • All bookings must be made online:

Book a class

  • New members will need to register and create a new account on the online booking site (you will need your card number for this).
  • Please bring your own mat if you have one and a prefilled water bottle – this can be refilled at a water fountain.
  • Please arrive on time for the start of your class.
  • Please make sure to get your name marked off the class register to avoid being marked as a no-show.
  • If your class uses equipment* please arrive up to 10 minutes early to allow time for setting up (*BODY PUMP, Body conditioning, GRIT Athletic).
  • Please arrive up to 10 minutes early if you are attending a Spin/RPM class to allow time to set up your bike correctly
  • Please clean equipment with the sanitising spray provided both before and after.

If you cannot attend a class you've booked please release your space online as soon as you can to give others the chance to book on.

How to book?

  1. Log on to the class booking site -  https://www.sport.ed.ac.uk/online-booking (all members need to be registered on the online booking site - Help on how to register)
  2. Select the 'classes' option
  3. Use the drop-down to select the Pleasance
  4. You have the option to select your preferred class or you can just leave it as 'all classes'
  5. Select the date you want to visit and then click 'search'
  6. You will then see if there is availability for your class and if there is you can click the 'add to the basket' button
  7. Tick to accept the terms and conditions and then click 'proceed'
  8. Then remember to click the 'confirm your booking' link

How to cancel a class

Our classes are very popular and do fill up quickly so if you cannot attend a class you've booked please release your space as soon as you can to give others the chance to book. 

Please cancel online:

  1. Log on to the class booking site -  https://www.sport.ed.ac.uk/online-booking/
  2. Click into  'my account' (if accessing the site from a PC you will need to click into 'account history' first)
  3. Click into 'classes'
  4. Find the class you want to cancel then click the plus symbol to expand the box and click the red cancel button (if accessing the site from a PC find the class you want to cancel and click on the red X box).
