University of Edinburgh Sport & Exercise and Edinburgh University Sports Union have released a joint sports clothing and uniform tender for the period 2019-2025. The tender, for a 6-year sports kit and uniform supply contract, is believed to be largest of its kind ever to go to market in the higher education sector. It will include the supply of sports kit and apparel to all University of Edinburgh Sports Clubs, Sports Union staff and volunteers as well as UoE Sport & Exercise staff uniforms. University of Edinburgh Director of Sport and Exercise Jim Aitken MBE commented, “We are delighted to be inviting interest to supply the University of Edinburgh Sport clothing for the next 6 years. We believe this is the largest contract of its kind to be released by a UK University, which reflects the exciting future and ambition we have for sport & exercise at Edinburgh. “ Paul Duffy, President of Edinburgh University Sports Union added “We are excited to be going to tender for our kit suppliers. Kit gives us our identity and provides us with a brand that our students are very proud of.
