The University of Edinburgh Boat Club are celebrating a glittering weekend at the British Rowing Senior Championships. Our team took top honours across multiple disciplines and even earned the Victor Ludorum, the competition’s top prize, as the most successful club overall. This achievement is particularly notable because it is the first time a club other than Leander has scooped the title. Wins also included Open 2x, U23 2x, Lightweight 2x, u23 Lightweight 2x, Women’s 2x, U23 Women’s 4- and U23 Men’s 4-. Olympic silver medallist Polly Swann was back in the water for the University and it was a victorious return indeed as she and teammate Lucy Glover won the Women’s Doubles by three lengths.
