I am recognised as a leading specialist within Sports and Exercise Medicine. I have worked at the Olympics, Paralympics, Commonwealth Games, the Ryder Cup, British Open, Tour de France, while currently working with the University of Edinburgh, the European Tour Golf, the SportScotland Institute of Sport and the Scottish Rugby Union. 

A Scottish International distance runner, I once ran 4300km from John O’Groats to the Sahara, a remarkable seven ultra-marathons on seven different continents in under a week, and have won 14 marathons/ ultra-marathons.
