I am on the specialist register for Sport and Exercise Medicine with the GMC and am recognised one of the leading and most experienced Doctors in World Rugby. I was the Match Day Doctor for the World Cup Final in 2015 and have since then supported both Scottish Rugby and the RFU at Twickenham in this role. I have also worked with Team GB at both Tokyo and Rio Olympics, Team Scotland at the last three Commonwealth Games, and a variety of other multi-sport games. 

Having played age-grade rugby for Scotland, I suffered too many injuries to continue playing, so now focus on managing them. After over 30 years in the Army, including service with The Parachute Regiment and the Special Forces, I am fairly experienced in musculoskeletal, expeditionary and activity-related injuries.
