Working initially in the NHS including broad and then specialised orthopaedic and musculo-skeletal rotational posts, across NHS Lothian Hospital and Community settings, before specialising in Sports and MSK physiotherapy. Gemma joined the University’s FASIC Sport & Exercise Medicine Clinic in 2007 progressing to an advanced practice role by 2018. In 2020, she was awarded a Masters with Distinction in Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy at Cardiff University.
