Following my qualification in Edinburgh I spent 4 years practicing with NHS Scotland and in Scottish Club Rugby. In 2018 I moved to New Zealand to develop my skills in Musculoskeletal / Sports Physiotherapy. In my 4 years in New Zealand I gained experience in elite and high performance sport, including in the Physiotherapy Team at the 2019 World Rugby Sevens Event, in Hamilton. Working in Waikato and Wellington I had great opportunities working with elite/international athletes in Netball, Hockey, Track Cycling, Powerlifting, Rugby and Football. In New Zealand I also worked as an Advanced Practice Physiotherapist as part of the Wellington Orthopaedic Service managing complex post-operative rehabilitation and I have completed extensive Clinical Pilates training through Polestar Pilates New Zealand in both Mat and Reformer Pilates. Since my return to Edinburgh I have worked with the University of Edinburgh High Performance Sport Department. In this role I work alongside strength & conditioning staff providing support for our 250 High Performance Athletes who compete at National & International Level, some performing at both Commonwealth & Olympic Games.
