The Main Event Halftime Challenge

(1) Promoter

The promoter of this competition is University of Edinburgh Sport, referred to in these Terms & Conditions as “the Promoter”.

(2) Eligibility

Participants must be aged 18+ on the date of the event.

Participants must be present at the venue during half-time when the challenge takes place.

The Promoter reserves the right to request proof of age or identity.

(3) How Participants Are Chosen

Participants will be selected via random draw (on site at the event).

If a selected participant does not present themselves when called, the Promoter may choose an alternative replacement participant at its discretion.

(4) Challenge Rules

Each participant will attempt to complete the challenge specified for the fixture.

No practice attempts are permitted.

The attempt must be completed within the time limit given by the event host.

A successful attempt is defined as the participant completing the stated objective in full, in accordance with the challenge requirements, without assistance, obstruction, or interference.

The Promoter’s officials will determine whether a shot is valid and their decision is final.

(5) Prize

A successful participant will win £1,000.

If more than one participant is successful, each successful participant will receive £1,000.

The prize is non-transferable and will be paid within 90 days of the event.

No alternative prize will be offered.

(6) Winner Requirements

Winners may be required to provide contact details for prize fulfilment.

Winners may be asked to verify their ID.
